Founded in 1888, Tri Delta was established by her founders as a society committed to being “kind alike to all, and to think more of a women’s inner character and beauty than her outward appearance.” It was a society in which three ideals — truth, self-sacrifice and friendship — were at the center of the member experience, and where women were called to establish a perpetual bond of friendship and to steadfastly love one another.
Tri Delta is an experience in which women are loved and accepted for who they are, and encouraged and empowered to become all they can be…to pursue their goals and dreams with passion and intention.
As a member of Tri Delta, your daughter will be required to meet and exceed certain expectations outlined in our Obligations of Membership. These expectations are set forth by her chapter and include personal, academic, financial, on-campus housing requirements to be met over the course of her collegiate membership.
As a new member, your daughter will be asked to review and sign the Obligations of Membership, as well as the Statement of Financial Obligations as part of her new member education program.
As part of the collegiate chapter experience, Tri Delta members will participate in multi-dimensional – “3D” – educational and leadership programs designed to inspire them to live, learn and lead in accordance with Tri Delta’s Purpose. Over the course of her collegiate experience, she will have opportunities for personal growth and development while building lifelong friendships.
Delta Delta Delta promises to assist your daughter in every possible way. If you have any questions about the services provided by the Fraternity please feel free to call our Executive Office at (817) 633-8001.
Tri Delta Parents Club at The University of Kansas
Parents Club is a special opportunity for parents of Tri Delta members to make an important impact on her collegiate chapter experience. Parents club helps to make important decisions regarding house renovations as well as ways to make our lovely house more of a home. Typical parents club activities are decorating the chapter house for holidays, providing late night snacks during finals week, and coordinating parent and daughter work weekends where we update areas of our house with your help! If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, or perhaps taking on a leadership role in this all-important establishment of our chapter, please contact our Parents Club President or our Parents Club Liaison whose information is below.
